Bolero Schwerin in Schwerin

In the partial lockdown, currently only FR-SA open. Ordered by phone and picked up the food. Everything excellent. Lovely again.

In addition to a large selection of food and drinks, the shop also offers a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit together with the friendly staff.

We have been to the Bolero several times and always got delicious things. This time we were unfortunately disappointed. When we wanted to have another cocktail around 9 p.m., we were told that everything had already been cleaned and that very few things were being served. Actually one assumes that everything is always cleaned up. Apart from that, there were a few more guests who were also handled that way. What a shame for such a shop!

Just the thing to complete our vacation! Very tasty and if you have Meiko as the waitress, the food is twice as much fun! Cool, personable and energetic guy.

Nice hotel, nice service and great breakfast! Highly recommended for a short or long stay. The quiet surroundings by the lake are fantastic, but at the same time you are in the inner city of Schwerin in 10-15 minutes.

Nice restaurant. Friendly staff, swift service. Good food, not expensive. Unfortunately they do not accept credit cards.

The bolero is highly recommended. Great service, good food and great drinks and cocktails. We felt very comfortable there.

Very nice, great atmosphere and the food is really good. The service and the service staff were also great. Indeed, You can't pay with a credit card. For me, despite all the positive aspects, this is unfortunately a reason not to come back. -Too bad- To the operators: Please take credit cards with you in your payment system!

Very nice staff. The food was great and the prices reasonable. The implementation of the current Corona regulations was also excellent. You can spend a nice evening here.

I can only recommend the restaurant. There is a huge selection of cocktails and food. The food came super fast and it was one of the best burgers I've had so far. Also the staff are all super friendly. I like to come back there.

We spontaneously decided on a weekend trip to Schwerin. Bumped into the Bolero by chance. We sat at the bar, weren't that enthusiastic at first, but that went away very quickly. Extremely nice and friendly service ... at the bar and otherwise ... drinks and food great ... price performance also ok ..... we liked it so much that we went there again the next evening Guests were ... even at a late hour you can still eat well ... there is no longer the whole menu to choose from, but nobody will starve. A clear ?

We wanted to eat with 4 people, not sit in the sun and the shade places were reserved. Very rude turned away by the waitress. Go away, you are not allowed to sit there. You can do it like that, but please be more friendly ... Then we'll happily give our money to another innkeeper.

I've been there several times and would always come back. A super great restaurant, even in the hot sunny weather it's just nice and relaxed to sit there. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was very friendly and relaxed again today, something you don't see in every restaurant. We never had to wait long either. My absolute favorite restaurant here in Schwerin.

We went there in the afternoon for a refreshing drink and then decided to come back for dinner ... Both times we were served in a friendly manner, the food was plentiful and very tasty ... We will definitely be back when we are in Schwerin again visit...

We arrived with 2 small kids and were dumped in the back of the restaurant, away from other people. We'r were hungry, so we accepted. But I would return again. The food is ok. Nothing special.

Bad service ... waited 20 minutes, the waitress walked past us 6 times. On request whether we could order. Answer: colleague is coming soon. Did not come!!!!!!

Great burgers and beer!

Food OK but average. Quite some waiting time between order taken and delivered. No credit cards accepted and only German bank cards.

Staff as always relaxed, friendly and relaxed. Food super delicious and really great savings on certain days of the week. Cocktails have a good shot and also taste very good = D

Super rude staff, didn’t even care if they have free table or not! Though they were very friendly with couple of Germans next to is!!

The kitchen closed early. The staff were mean, the drinks were diluted and they had nothing that was on the menu

Great food and drinks in a central location. Friendly well trained personnel. Can get chaotic when too busy. They are the victims of their own success.

Nice cocktail bar and polite service. Honest staff: I forgot my camera here and the staff kept it safe for 24hours which gave me the opportunity to collect it later.

I have actually visited Bolero a total of 3 times to eat. All 3 times have, unfortunately, been sub par. The hard part of writing this is that the overall tastes on the plates are quite nice. Based on taste alone it's an easy 3 - 4 stars. The problem is that fact that I have never had a fresh dish in the 3 times I have been there. From still frozen beans and corn to cold beef all the way to over microwaved kidney beans (very annoying dried out powered kidney beans fresh from the microwave). The service was great and was the only saving grace as well as being the only reason for 2 stars. As a side note. If you are a HEAT lover as I am, bring your own sauces. Bolero is TexMex/Mexican in name only and spicy is not really on the menu. If they could tweak the kitchen a bit they could easily hit 4 stars. If that were to happen I would be more than happy to eat there weekly. I friggin LOVE Mexican and they are the only option in Schwerin as far as I know.

Extremely Americanized, tex-mex type food, masquerading as Mexican. It works for those who have never had real Mexican food and therefore can't appreciate the difference, but if you're looking for authentic Mexican, you won't find it here!
